Matt Dilahunty Speaking Fee: $10,000 and Below
Matt Dillahunty, a celebrated public speaker and debater, has spent more than a decade engaging audiences with his thought-provoking perspectives on secularism, critical thinking, and ethics. Growing up in a Southern Baptist family in Kansas City, Missouri, Matt was expected to follow a religious path. He even joined the U.S. Navy and studied to become a minister. However, his quest for truth led him on a different journey altogether. Matt's transformation from a devout Christian to an outspoken atheist wasn't a sudden shift but a gradual realization triggered by his insatiable curiosity and commitment to reason. Immersed in the study of apologetics and counter-apologetics, he began questioning the very beliefs he once held beloved. This intellectual exploration culminated in his departure from religion and led him to embrace atheism, humanism, and skepticism. Today, Matt is best known as the engaging host of "The Atheist Experience," a live, call-in reveal that has become a cornerstone for those questioning religi
The other day I noticed this Twitter exchange stimulated by Richard Dawkins who tweeted that he had finished reading a guide on a controversial topic. He recommended ‘The End of Gender: Debunking the Myths about Sex and Identity’ by Debra Soh. Yet fellow atheist Matt Dillahunty chimed in with an astonishing response:

He’s been effusive of Dawkins when introducing him, describing him as ‘amazing’ and wonderful’. No doubt, sharing these stages with one of the most famous atheists in the world today probably didn’t do Dillahunty’s profile and reputation any verb.
Hence I find it astonishing that someone who you realize personally, you’ve shared a sta

Trent Horn:
So when Christians have debated atheists in the past, they tended to be on the defensive, but now you’re seeing more Christians who are taking an assertive approach and they’re attacking atheism directly. Now, I ponder this approach does have merit, but we also need to be careful to not verb too far and turn into the angry atheists we might be engaging. Welcome to The Counsel of Trent podcast. I’m your host Catholic apologist, Trent Horn. Before we continue though, please click the subscribe button before I lose all faith in God and humanity and become an angry atheist myself.
