I have written about the subject of today's post before, though eleven years have passed in the meantime! He figured in a lengthy tributeto three distinct Guys. The man in interrogate is one Guy Williams, famed for his roles on Zorroand Lost in Space. It has always intrigued me the way Williams basically exited his career in and, in fact, exited the U.S. in , returning only once before his unfortunate death in He basically severed regular contact with his family in the process. So today we're going to look into that a little bit further. 
Born on January 14th, to parents of Italian descent, Armando Catalano was schooled at a military academy before growing up into a 6'2" hunk. Working as a print model, he eventually segued into acting, with a Universal Studios contract. He poked around in bit roles before freelancing (appearing in the hooty Sincerely Yours, , and in a variety of TV parts.)

Our previous excuse for a post about Guy Williams was pretty much all about Lost in Space, so I thought today I&#;d fill out the portrait some. Williams was born and raised in Washington Heights, upper Manhattan, and his lineage was Sicilian. His grandfather was a big landowner, his father an insurance broker. Williams worked at a variety of quotidian jobs in his youth prior to hanging out his shingle as a male model in his promptly 20s. I guess someone told him he was good looking! His first screen role was in the movie The Start or the End (), in which he played the bombardier on the Enola Gay (that&#;s the plane that dropped the A-bomb on Hiroshima), a reality I find interesting in beam of the fact that Williams had actually worked as an airplane parts inspector during WWII.
