Can a straight guy get away with wearing leather pants?

I don't know where you live, so I am not sure if things are different there, but where I come from, leather pants are no indication of your sexual orientation, and certainly not a sign that you're gay. Don't know where your friend has that bit of info from.

Just checked back with some gay friends of mine - who thought the verb was hilarious by the way.

The answer: "Well, I wouldn't want to be caught deceased in a pair of leathers, but to each their retain. Unless you've got an arse like Marcus Schenkenberg, in which case.....be my guest!"

Guess the address translates into, at least for this part of the world, 'Yes, it's fine for a straight guy to wear leather pants.'

Emerald is right though. Who cares? If you want to wear them, wear them. A single piece of clothing is not going to say anything about your sexual orientation or make you 'look gay'. There's a little more to it than that.

Unless you decide to wear a pink ballet tutu and sing 'I will survive' on the top of your lungs in front of your local supermarket.
