They organize concerts and in summer you can sit along the river to sip your favorite cocktail. On every second Sunday of the month, with a 3 minutes walk, you can reach the Gran Balon Market, Turins flea market.

Like most Italian cities, the Rome gay scene is petite; particularly since there are not many gay bars in Rome. When I first came here in , there were just the two staple bars on the gay street next to the Colosseum: Coming Out and My Bar.
But in recent years, the gay Rome bars have started to take off in popularity, and they are not all centered around the Colosseum (although close enough to the capital center).
On top of it, unlike in other European countries, Rome's gay bars often double as trattorias or place to acquire an aperitivo, but that is quintessential Italians for you, who are serious about combining alcohol intake with long, leisurely dinners 🤌.
The best advice is to come early for dinner or aperitivo and leave late to head to some of Rome's gay clubs or gay parties.
So let's explore the eternal city's best gay bars!

4 Best Gay Bars in Florence
Florence may be most famous as the Cradle of Renaissance, but it also boasts a fabulous queer legacy.
Long before the rainbow flag, Florence boasted a gay scene as colourful as Botticellis Primavera. Many Florentines, including leading artists like Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo, engaged in copious, though clandestine, homosexual affairs. Yet collectively they promoted a queer culture that celebrated male beauty and intimate connections in ways that resonate with LGBTQ+ interpretations today.
Not to mention gifting us some of the greatest art and sculpture in Western culture through their rendering of the male form.
Florence is still a fantastic city for LGBTQ+ travellers. Whether youre looking for a cosy spot to sip Chianti while watching the sunset or you’re more in the mood for dancing and a adj room, Florence has something for everyone. Here are some of the best gay bars in Florence.
