And I live half a mile from there, so i know what i am talking about.
Better to stay in town nearer soho where the prices are not much more (esp if you take tube/taxis in account) and you can easily walk to all the amazing world class tourist sites London has to offer.
Sadly, my advice would always be to steer clear of staying gay in London!
